There are only two occasions when hockey players are allowed to cry… when lofting a trophy high above their heads or when watching ‘The Great One’ retire. The development of Odd Man Rush however could have brought even the toughest enforcer close to tears.
After six months of blood, sweat and a number of late nights I’m glad to announce that Odd Man Rush has finally opened its virtual doors to the public.
First of all I would like to extend my thanks to Todd Kelman of the Belfast Giants for the use of the Odyssey Arena for filming, to John Bickerstaff of the Junior Giants for excusing players from a fundraising event to help out, to all the on-ice volunteers, to Paul Maclean for providing narration, to Sterling Groves and Keith Bloomer for providing cameras and helping with the filming, and to all those who have provided assistance and ideas. I really mean it when I say that none of this would have been possible without you.
